Sensors and Sounder

In version 1, the only sensors were the two push-buttons fitted behind the front bump skirt. These were salvaged from an old printer, as was the reset switch glued to the top of the chassis next to the controller, and are mounted on small PCBs.

The sounder glued at the other end of the controller was salvaged from the same printer: it is used for beeping when collisions occur. The bump skirt itself is made from two pieces of salvaged plastic material.
